As the founder member of the company, Richard Lock is a qualified Fire Engineer and a member of the Arson Investigators Forum of the Loss Prevention Council. He is committed to working with the local business community in order to help you manage the complex and ever changing world of fire safety legislation.

He was formerly a senior fire officer with the Hampshire and Suffolk Fire Services and has a wealth of experience within the three core areas of fire safety management; fire investigation and firefighting operations during his 32 year career. As the operational Commander of 640 firefighters serving on 35 stations he can vouch for the fact that fighting a fire and managing so many "angels" may well be considered an exhilarating experience. It is!

However, the reality is that it only takes a few minutes for a fire to destroy your business activities.

For three years he was seconded to Her Majesty's Inspectors of Fire Services where he gained valuable experience working closely alongside agencies carrying out a wide range of Home Office Research projects dealing with firefighting tactics and human behaviour in fire.
