Safety in the Workplace

Fire Marshal and Fire Warden training Course
Cost code: Costs are based on a daily rate and can be as little as £15.00 per delegate.
Duration 2-2½ hrs

Option 1: - with practical use of fire extinguishers
Option 2: - with interactive video involvement
Option 3: - we train your in-house trainers

The Fire Marshal course (or Warden) is designed to provide the specialised knowledge and training required for a person to be able to carry out the duties of a Fire Marshal. It will raise awareness concerning the management and behaviour of people in a range of emergency evacuation situations, and the necessary actions to be taken before - during and after an incident. The onus will be on prevention always being better than the "cure".

The roles and responsibilities of a Fire Warden / Fire marshal / building supervisor and a simple checklist for you to consider incorporating in your emergency evacuation/fire action plan are included as part of the work package.

We do not do the usual centralised "one size fits all" training delivered by other training providers. Go to our Online Enquiry service to get in touch or email richard@firewise.biz for further information.

OUR TRAINING WILL ALWAYS BE "SITE SPECIFIC"

It will enable you to carry out the duties of a Fire Warden / Marshal as laid down in your Company Fire Plan and to play an effective role in managing the fire safety requirements including the prevention of arson. It will also highlight the threat posed by fire to people and the continuity of your business.

The business focus will be tailored to suit your specific requirements and circumstances, AND delivered on your site at times to suit you at no additional cost. The issues in any emergency evacuation to needs to cater for human behaviour and the safe use of fire extinguishers, or more importantly, when not to use them. These are of prime importance and are not normally covered to the same standard by other providers.

Quote from former AXA delegate:

Subject: Fire Safety Training

Neil, Having done this before with two previous companies, this was by far the best one yet. Not only giving advice on the Fire Warden role and practices but also practical advice for the home. Great content and delivery. Anyone would benefit from this training, not just Fire Wardens.

Regards, Greg
